DIV Consulting specializes in providing site-specific Flood Risk Assessments (SSFRA) tailored for all types of developments, ensuring they meet the necessary level of detail. Our Flood Risk Assessment reports are prepared in accordance with The Planning System and Flood Risk Management (2009). A SSFRA can include hydraulic modelling of coastal, pluvial and fluvial flooding.

 We specialise in consequence modelling for COMAH sites regulated under the Seveso III Directive. Our modelling capabilities cover a wide range of scenarios, including instantaneous and simultaneous storage tank collapses, fire-induced failures of multiple tanks, jetting at inspection manhole, and complex combinations of these events — assessed under varying conditions such as rainfall and the application of firewater and firefoam.

To obtain the Section 50 Consent from the Office of Public Works (OPW) for constructing, altering, or replacing bridges and culverts over watercourses, hydraulic modelling and flood risk assessment may also be necessary.
